2024 NFL Draft Round 2: Open thread

It’s night two of the 2024 NFL Draft, with Rounds 2 and 3 set to take place this evening. The Buffalo Bills are on the clock, and have been since just before midnight last night. After trading with the Kansas City Chiefs and out of their original pick at 28, Buffalo landed at 32. When their time in the spotlight came again, they instead chose to trade back once more — this time with the Carolina Panthers and completely out of Round 1.

To recap the results of their trade efforts (which you can vote on here):

Trade 1
(points in parenthesis = Rich Hill trade value chart)

  • Bills received: 32 (184 pts), 95 (40 pts), 221 (2pts) = 226
  • Chiefs received: 28 (209 pts), 133 (18 pts), 248 (1 pt) = 227
A near-even trade with the results of this trade

    Trade 2
(points in parenthesis = Rich Hill trade value chart)

    • Bills received: 33 (180 pts), 141 (14 pts) = 194 pts
    • Panthers received: 32 (184 pts), 200 (5 pts) = 189 pts
Bills with a net gain as a result of this trade

That leaves the Buffalo Bills with the following picks tonight:

      • Round 2: pick 33 (from Panthers)
      • Round 2: pick 60
      • Round 3: pick 95 (from Chiefs)

So, let’s get things started, shall we?
