A lot can change over the course of two years in college football, and one of the best examples to show that has been the matchups between Houston and Tulane over the past two seasons.
In 2014, the Green Wave (3-6, 0-5 in American Athletic Conference) traveled to TDECU Stadium and beat Houston 31-24 in its homecoming game.
Since then, the Cougars (7-2, 4-2 in AAC) developed into one of the most explosive teams in the country and won 23 of its next 27 games, including a 42-7 victory over the Green Wave last season.
Tulane will be going back to Houston for its homecoming once again on Saturday, and if the Green Wave hopes to upset Houston the same way they did two years, it'll begin with the defense playing one of its better games of the season.
